This past Saturday marked a beautiful milestone for Libélula Primary Care and our Boise community: the first-ever Walk with a Doc Boise. Under clear skies and ideal fall weather, a small but mighty group gathered at Shoreline Park to walk, talk, and connect—united by a shared commitment to health and belonging.
We met new faces, exchanged stories, and embraced movement not just as exercise, but as a form of empowerment. The topic of the day was simple yet profound: Walking—a practice that improves cardiovascular health, boosts mood, and fosters connection. As we walked along the modified yellow route (to avoid race traffic), we were reminded that wellness doesn’t require perfection—it begins with showing up.
🎽 Free t-shirts were gifted to early registrants, and those who signed up digitally entered a raffle for an extra tee. 📸 Smiles, steps, and stories filled the morning—proof that even small gatherings can spark big change.
